When the Brownstone Detectives investigates the history of your house, for certain size House History Books, we will attempt to track down your house’s former owners, family members, and neighbors who remember the history of the house and can contribute to documenting it.

At your request, we can interview certain key persons and put together a short video featuring key commentary on the history of your house and its inhabitants.

For a recent house investigation, after extensive research, we tracked down a woman who had been born while her family lived at the house. She had spent her childhood there and had countless fond memories to share. We contacted her and invited her to come tour the house – after an absence of some 62 years.
